Jane Ellen Clark
Jane Ellen (Greten) Clark, age 93, of Rochester, MN, died Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Jane was born April 19, 1928, in Fairmont, MN, the daughter of Francis and Ellen (Wedge) Greten. She was united in marriage to Wayne Clark at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Rochester on August 16, 1946. Jane worked as a waitress, working at many different restaurants in Rochester. She was known for her cooking, especially her Irish Stew. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was a skilled seamstress, sewing clothing for her children. Jane was also an avid garage-saler. She loved spending time with her family, and attended all of her grandchildren’s sporting events.
She is survived by her children: Russell (Denise), Patrick (Andrea), Michael, Jennie (Dan) Dinneen, and Ellen (Jim) Carey, all of Rochester; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; 1 brother, and 2 sisters; granddaughter, Bonnie; and daughter-in-law, Shelly.
A funeral service will be held Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:00AM in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home, with Deacon Pat Fagan officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. It was Jane’s wish that all guests wear masks at the service to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Memorials are preferred to the Eagles Cancer Telethon.

What a loss for such a great lady and a fri! Knew Jane for years. I did her hair for so many years. Lastly at Madonna Towers. Issued all those great ladies when I retired. My deepest sympathies to the family of Jane.
