Sending our sympathy to The family of Vince.
My experience with Vince came over 35 years ago, but I still remember him fondly. I was in 8th grade and new to Rochester when this big man I did not know came up to me and asked if I wanted to play on a basketball team he was putting together with some boys in Mike's grade. I believe we called ourselves the "HiMec Hoyas". We weren't the most talented bunch - in fact I do not even know that we won a single game. However, I think that was the funnest team I ever played on as a kid. Going to his practices after school was the highlight of my day. Vince taught me a lot and really helped me build up my confidence that season. God Bless Vince's memory.
Vince was the guy that inspired me to “pay it forward”! He was a wonderful, kind, funny and selfless man! Will definitely miss his smile! May he RIP! Hugs and prayers to Ginny and family. Eagles strong! ❤️
Words cannot express the sadness we feel upon hearing of Vince's passing. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Ginny, Mike, and Chris and the rest of the family. We shared time at the river with Vince, and had many pleasant times there. If I ever encountered Vince anywhere, he never failed to say "Hello", ask how everything was going and to make sure I passed on his best to my family. A prince of a guy, a gentleman, with a friendly smile and a great laugh. The world is a little bit poorer without Vince and I will remember him always as a good friend!
I am so saddened to hear of Vinces passing. I harbor so many fond memories of time we spent with Vince and his family. He will be truly missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Ginny, and your entire family.
