Ardith Ann Trescartes

The funeral service for Ardith Ann Trescartes will be 11:00am Friday, September 3, 2010 at Macken Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Uit de Flesch officiating.  Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.  The visitation will be from 5:00pm ~ 8:00pm Thursday evening and one hour prior to the service on Friday at Macken Funeral Home.

Mrs. Trescartes passed away peacefully on Monday August 30, 2010 at her daughter’s home in Eyota.  She was born March 31, 1931 in Elmira Township to Phillip and Mary (Balcome) Baier.

She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and playing solitaire with a deck of cards.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and canning tomatoes.

She is survived by five daughters, Brandy (Travis) Diderrich of Eyota, Andrea Wallace of Dover, Rene Wallace of Texas, Linda (Bruce) Christianson of Blooming Prairie and April (Mark) Prestegard of Blooming Prairie; two sons, Herb Fitzpatrick of Eyota and Charlie (Mary Jo) Wallace of Blooming Prairie; sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; She is also survived by her very dear friend of many years Frank Forney of Dover.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Richard Rose and Ralph Baier.

She will be greatly missed by everyone that loved her, especially by her dog Rictor.
