Janet Agnes Mooney

Janet Agnes Mooney, 81, of Rochester, MN, died December 12, 2020 at her residence.

Janet was born June 15, 1939 in Granite Falls, MN, to James and Mary (Koepke) Mooney. She lived with her parents and later in life, moved to her residence provided by Bear Creek Services in Rochester, MN.

Janet loved visitors and would entertain them with her sharp wit and honest humor. Ability Building Community provided Janet with a variety of employment experiences. Michaels Restaurant, Mayo Clinic, and Olive Garden were some of the jobs she enjoyed. She always enjoyed her time with the Salvation Army activities and Church.

Janet is survived by one brother, Larry Mooney; sister-in law, Norma Mooney; nieces and nephews, John Mooney, Ann Miller, Dave Mooney, Julie Mooney, and Denise Millis.

She was preceded in death by her brother and parents.

The memorial service for Janet will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, Minnesota. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Granite Falls City Cemetery on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Bear Creek Services.
