Randy and Family.
In deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Friend- huge loss for all of you!! Melody was always very kind and easy to work with, had a huge, caring heart for others. Grief and loss is very difficult, be kind to your self. Our hope as Christians is we will be reunited again with our loved ones in heaven- praise God Amen. Hugs, Mark and Pam Madery
Randy, Cindi, Sharon, Kurt: The colored photo is special! Unlike others who have posted, I have known Melody only 15 or 16 years as we cared for her aunt, Vivian, first in a Kenyon apartment, then as she moved to an assisted living facility, and finally into the nursing home, where our paths crossed more often. I also know of Wayne, Sheldon, Gary and children and grandchildren who were part of Vivian's holidays and family reunions. The forever picture in my memory is seeing Melody reading from the Bible, to Vivian an hour or so before her death. That's the compassion of which many of you have written. The shock is real. Randy, I hope you will feel Melody's presence at the cabin, your sanctuary. God's blessings, comfort, grace and peace to all of you.

I was so sorry to hear of Melody’s passing. I worked with her at St Mary’s and she was a great coworker. We talked about our families and she was so proud of all of you. In a turnabout, she was my nurse at the clinic during an orthopedic procedure. It was reassuring to see a familiar face and she was so kind to me. She had much to offer life and is gone too quickly.
