Edwin “Ned” Bartlett II
Edwin “Ned” R. Bartlett II passed away on August 26, 2018 at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center, MN where he had resided the last several years.
Ned was born in Niagara Falls, NY to Edwin Porter and Margaret (Cortellini” Bartlett. In 1989, he married Judith Rupkalvis in Chicago, IL where they lived for several years.
He attended Lewiston-Porter High School in Youngstown, NY, graduated from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL, and received his MBA from De Paul University in Chicago, IL. Ned worked for the Chicago Options Exchange for many years before relocating to Rochester, MN.
Ned was an avid music enthusiast and played guitar in several bands. He was a passionate Buffalo, NY sports fan following the Buffalo Bills football and Sabers hockey teams. Traveling, sailing, and fishing trips to Canada were his other passions. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rochester.
Survivors include his wife, Judith; his three sons, Bradley (Jessica), Peter, and James; twin grandsons, William and Matthew, all of Rochester, MN. He is also survived by two sisters, Sarah (B. Mason Jr.) Bowen and Elizabeth Bartlett of Buffalo, NY; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Benjamin Loos officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens.

our thoughts are prayers are with you. I saw Cousin Ned at the Niagara Falls Country Club in 1993 for my Mom’s funeral. Had a very nice chat, catching up on ole times. He will be missed!
