Minerva V. Milde

Minerva V. Milde, 98 of Rochester, Minnesota died on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in her home surrounded by family. Minerva was born August 28, 1919 in Fillmore County to Willie and Elvira (Uden) Grindland. She married George Milde on May 9, 1944 in San Leandro, California.

She was a homemaker all her life and lived life to the fullest. She had a great love and compassion for her family and friends.

Minerva is survived by her daughter, Mary (Harry) Melander of Mahtomedi, Minnesota; Jane (David) Sather of Rochester, Minnesota; brother, Arthur (Bernie) Grindland of Winona, Minnesota; sister, Irene Stopyro of Rochester, Minnesota; five grandchildren; Jonathan, Andrew and Elizabeth Melander; Jessica (Olsen), Jeremy Sather; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, (David); husband (George); two sisters, and a brother.

The funeral services for Minerva will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home 1105 12th Street SE Rochester, MN 55904 with Pastor Dave Schreiber officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service with a luncheon to follow onsite. Interment will be in Highland Prairie Lutheran Cemetery 43267 Bowl Dr, Peterson, MN 55962.
