Camilla Mary Randall

Camilla Mary Randall, age 94 of Rochester, passed away peacefully at Madonna Towers Skilled Care on Thursday, May 31, 2018.

Camilla Mary Tomey was born on October 22, 1923 to Michael B. and Anna (Centnar) Tomey in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Cam graduated from Norwalk High School and in 1944, she married the love of her life, Leslie V. (Les) Randall Jr. in Norwalk, CT. In 1953, she and Les moved to Minneapolis and shared many happy years together. She and Les were very active in their church, Lake Harriet United Methodist in Minneapolis. Cam was a longtime member of the Edina Garden Council and did exquisite floral arrangements for her church, for many years. She was a superb and talented decorator and had a love of history and antiques, but most of all loved being with her family and dear friends. Cam was a wonderful wife, mom, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt and friend and was outgoing and welcoming to all.

She is survived by her loving son Leslie V. “Randy” Randall III (Barbara Hight-Randall) of Rochester, three nieces, Kris Guido, Claudia (Joe) Boerst, Nora Tomey; nephew, Mark (Nora) Tomey; brother-in-law, Richard Randall (Mal Nickerson); and many grand nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Les (2000); sister, Lillian; brother, Ted; and niece, Camille (Kim) Kenworthy.

A Celebration of Life for Cam will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester with Pastor Nancy Wheeler-Handlon officiating. Visitation at the church is one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will be served following the service at the church.

Memorials are preferred to Safe Haven Pet Rescue or Seasons Hospice.
