Judy Ann Mueller

Judy Ann (Mlnarik) Mueller died on October 28, 2017 surrounded by her family. She died from complications from her Leukemia.

Judy was born on March 15, 1944 in a farmhouse in Clearwater, Nebraska. She met William while both were living in California and they married in Brunswick, Nebraska on October 21, 1961. Although living in many places, LaCrescent, Minnesota was where she called home. She still visited with good friends from there until her passing. Judy also enjoyed her winters in Mission, Texas and too, kept in touch with many great friends even though she was unable to keep “Winter Texas-ing” the last few years. She was proud of her faith and used its power to carry her through life until the end.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William; a son, Travis (Jennifer) Mueller; two grandchildren, Harper Campbell and Violet Alexandra Mueller; four sisters, Elaine Jensen, Phyllis LeVay, Joan Adams, Helen Harvey; one brother, Vernon Mlnarik; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Laurence and Vera Mlnarik; and brother, Don Mlnarik.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Redeemer Luther Church with Rev. Adam Koglin officating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at the Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery in Preston, MN.

Many thanks to the staff at Methodist Hospital, especially 7-4, and to the Mayo Hospice program who took wonderful care of Judy in her last weeks of life.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be sent to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 869 7th Ave SE, Rochester, MN 559045 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 97167 Washington, DC 20077.
