Condolences

The family of Robert R. Gilbert has received the following condolences.

I worked with Bob for over 20 years at the Main Post Office, both as a clerk and later when he became the window supervisor.  Bob was responsible for over a million dollar vault and he made it look so easy.  I will always remember Bob with a smile, he will be truly missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Russ Shores passed the information to us.

The picture of Bob is so good with his big smile.

We always think of the fraternity of postal workers - like Char's Dad.  And the hard work by both Bob and Caron on whatever task they did.

And the cats!!  We never have forgotten Bubba - mascot of the condos!  Now there are too many dogs.

We are still at the same condo address - for 19 years???  Mostly in the spring, summer, fall....

To the big extended family - from friends and neighbors Gene Mammenga and Char Brooker

Caron      -  I was so sorry to read of Bob's death.  I still remember meeting the two of you when I moved into the condos.  Remember Bob getting a ladder and crawling over the balcony to open the front door.  Don't know he got by wiithout straining something.  Missed you both when you moved to Rochester.

May you and your family find peace and strength at this time.

Maggie

Worked with Bob, for a number of years.

He was a real nice guy and will be missed.
