Condolences

The family of Norma Evelyn McWilliams has received the following condolences.

oh my....So many wonderful memories of the McWilliams family. Norma and Rich, better known as "M and D" to us--- that is" mom and dad". They truly adopted my husband and

me when we moved into the house across the street from them on Lake Street NW in 1993. As well as we adopting them! On moving in day, we were threatened by tornadoes and "M and D" graciously introduced themselves and helped us unload our moving truck! Not only did they help us unload but they stored our belongings in their garage until we could move into our home. That was the beginning of a very warm and special relationship. Their kindness and hospitality will always be etched into my heart.  We shared many cups of coffee and pancakes with them ..some even in the middle of the street! A holiday never went by that they weren't  thoughtful enough to make sure that we had a place to go --since we were from "The South" and didn't have family nearby. Many happy memories celebrating birthdays at Pannekokin or the Mexican restaurant wearing sombreros. And who could ever forget the "Misty Letters"! Our view from our front window was always breath taking with the gorgeous colorful array of flowers that Rich planted ,not to mention the backyard and raspberry plants! Our fond memories are plentiful and will never be forgotten. You were family then and even though we moved back south to Georgia, all of you are remembered and thought of more frequently than you could ever imagine. We miss you and love you. Norma was a wonderful Christian lady who returned home. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
