David R. Heller
David Ray Heller, 56, of Stewartville, MN, went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
David was born in Littitz, PA to Eugene and Ruth (Krall) Heller on November 26, 1959. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Judi Heller, four children, Keith (Gina) Hawk, Lynn (Neil) Montague, Amanda (Andrew) Walston, and Emily (Christian) Holter, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers and three sisters. His parents preceded him in death.
David grew up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania and later crop farmed several years with his father near Racine, MN. He spent twenty years selling insurance and ten years as a cab driver, during which he enjoyed meeting new people. His recent employment as an aerial farm photography salesman combined his love of farming and of sales. However, David’s greatest enjoyment came from camping, traveling, and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and his dog, Gracie. A big grin would often light his face, displaying his mischievous sense of humor and competitiveness as he took delight in family games (especially checkers and squirt gun fights).
On Friday, December 11, there will be a will be a time of worship and celebration of David’s life at Oak Hills Wesleyan Church in Rochester at 7:00pm.
The funeral will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, December 12 at Macken Funeral Home River Park Chapel in Rochester, with visitation beginning at 10:00am.

Condolences
The family of David R. Heller has received the following condolences.
Our love and prayers are with the whole family. We have known all of you for years and appreciated your Christian fellowship and friendship. Dave was a wonderful Christian man who loved God first and family second. Some day we all can be together.
Judi and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Dave's accident and death. Gods peace be with him and give you comfort.
I know Amanda and Andrew Walston and I would just like to extend my condolences. The Lord can be your only strength during this time. The Lord has placed upon my heart the song "Keep My Heart Alive" by Santus Real. I am praying for the family. Much love, Sifa.
David was a man of steadfast convictions. I remember him being vey curious and stubborn. He loves the Lord and he loved his family. This commitment was foremost throughout his life without ever faltering. Together with Judy by his side they pass these great traits onto their children. Now because of this example his legacy lives on in his beautiful children and grandchildren. They possess that same deep love for their family and the Lord as David had.
His life will always be visible as his family all go forward loving and living for the Lord.
What a greater gift could David leave the world.
What a wonderful legacy.
You will be missed by us all
