I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Kathy's passing. I met Kathy as her trainer for a period of time at the Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center and really enjoyed the time I got to spend with her. Her personality was refreshing to me. I looked forward to seeing her every week. I am sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with her family.
We are so very sorry to hear about your loss. Kathy was my maid of honor, we have not talked for years but I have wonderful memories of our friendship.
Dear Keith and Kathleen's family,
we are devastated to hear of her passing. We are the owners of Toto. We have stayed in close contact since getting him 4 1/2 years ago. She was an amazing breeder and human.
My deepest sympathy to Kathy's family and friends. When I heard of her passing, I was shocked.
I will always remember the times together as kids, her kindness and beautiful smile.
Love to all,
Sheila ( Bierlein ) Erickson
We want to express our deepest condolences on Kathy's passing and our sorrow for your loss. It is such a shock!
When we met Kathy in early 2011, we thought we were picking out a darling Norwich puppy, which of course was true, but we also met a warm, smiling woman who became such a kind and beautiful friend to us. Our dog, Sidney, is the love of our lives and we are forever grateful to Kathy for entrusting him to us.
Our visits to see her and Keith and their dogs, and the times we took care of Sidney's brother, Red, when they went on vacation enriched our lives in so many ways. Kathy was so generous to groom Sidney at her place or ours; we so enjoyed her good company and lively conversation. She was happy to take care of him several times when we went on vacation. And we had such a fun time seeing Keith in his acting debut and meeting Kathy's family at the Mantorville Opera House.
Kathy touched our lives, as she has done with so many dog lovers and other people. We will miss her very much.

We send our heartfelt condolences to Kathy's family and nearest friends at this very sad time. As she did for so many others, Kathy changed our lives in January 2002 when she offered us one of her Norwich Terriers, Cameron. We got to know Kathy over the years sharing news about Cameron, and then later Zachary, and most recently, Frasier. Kathy understood these dogs are the children of our hearts, and we have always been so grateful to Kathy for bringing them into our lives and then helping us care for them by sharing her amazing stores of knowledge, kindness, and ongoing interest. Kathy had such a loving and wise heart about both dogs and people, and part of that wisdom and love was her understanding of deep connections, be it of family, friends, or between people and our dogs. We admired, trusted, and relied on Kathy over all these years, so very much. We sorrow in her passing, along with her family and friends. She made the world a better place, in so many ways, and we will always remember her with love.
Kathleen was a very patient, loving, kind, and happy person. I had the pleasure of working with her at Mayo HR Employee Service Center and will miss talking with her everyday. I'll never forget the time she told me about her playing darts as I wasn't excepting that to be a hobby of her's. She laughted at the expression I made. Kathleen will be greatly missed by all of us.
I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Kathy during our training together at Mayo in the ESC. Being teleworkers we don’t get to see each other face to face often. Not so long ago she and I had the chance to spend the morning digging plants, it was a great day! She was so happy, smiling and excited to be digging in the dirt. So very sorry, Kathy will be greatly missed. Prayers and thoughts are with you all. Jenny Brummer
My deepest sympathy to Kathy's family. I have had the privilege of working with Kathy at Mayo Clinic HR Employee Service Center. She will be greatly missed. She was such a kind and thoughtful employee and friend.
My deepest condolences to you all. I loved Kathy like a sister and her departure has left a whole in my heart that will never be filled. Kathy was the most generous, kind, and loving friend that I have ever had. I could spend hours talking to her. We both wished we lived closer but we were able maintain a close relationship though states apart. Kathy loved each and every one of you. She spoke of her parents and her daughters, her grandchildren, and her siblings. She was so very proud of Emily and Jessica and what they accomplished with their lives. She spoke of Keith and how greatful she was to have a partner that loved her dogs as she did. I have the honor of having two of the Norwich terriers that Kathy raised and I will hold them even closer to my heart as my living connection to her. Kathy, you left me too soon, but what you added to my life will remain with me forever. I love you.
Jessica, my deepest condolences to you and your family during this difficult time.
My condolences to the family. Kathy was a beautiful person inside and out. We will miss her very much. Kiss all the norwich in heaven that were waiting your arms again.
I bred Norwich with Kathy many years ago. I will always remember the kindness she showed me when my husband passed away.
She will be remembered by everyone whose life she touched. I am so very sorry for your loss.
I knew Kathy well enough to admire her in many ways. I bred Norwich with her a couple of times and knew of so many others that did and were so pleased with her professionalism and knowledge. I know she had many interests way beyond the norm but her first love was her girls and her family. She just adored them. She was a very lucky woman in so many ways and to loose her is unthinkable.. My thoughts are many but I send my empathies to all of you who knew her best. I never got to meet her companion of many years Keith but know he was so very wonderful to her and a great friend to everyone that knew them.
Peace be with you Kathy but it sure is way too soon..
