Gloria Frances Patrick

The funeral for Gloria F. Patrick will be on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00am at the Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church (2810 40th Ave SE – Rochester) with Pastor Kevin Sorensen officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service at the church on Saturday.

Gloria Frances Patrick, 89, of Rochester, MN went to be with her Lord September 22 at Cottagewood Senior Community. Gloria was born March 26, 1927 in Luck, WI to Walt & Betras McKeever. She attended Wanamingo public schools and West High school in Minneapolis.

She married Lucius Edwin Patrick from Georgia. The couple raised their children in Richfield, MN. Later retiring to Thomasville, GA and moved Rochester for the last 10 years. Pat and Gloria were married 71½ wonderful years.Gloria loved Pat from the moment she heard his southern drawl.

Survivors include her husband, Lucius Patrick; her sons, Micheal Patrick (Barbara) of St. Louis Park, MN and Bobo (Robert) Patrick of North Branch, MN; her daughters Kathy Churchill (Keith) of Rochester, MN and Jesse Lemieux (Mark) Coon Rapids, MN. Gloria had 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Eugene McKeever and sister in law Dee McKeever of CO.

Gloria loved nothing more than her children and grandchildren. She was a published author and poet. She was an incredible cook and avid golfer.
