Hila and family,
So sorry to hear of Vince's passing. We all loved his friendly smile and his great laugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Thinking of you in these difficult times.
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Vince. We have know him for quite awhile and have worked with him at Channel One. Such a wonderful man, so sorry for your loss.
Dear Dr. McCoy and family,
Vince was the first person I met at Channel One 12 years ago when I began raising vegetables and donating them. He gave me an overview of the mission of the organization and showed me the ropes. A couple of years, when my wife and I were on vacation, Vince lined up volunteers to harvest for us. Along the way he told me about his experiences in the Peace Corps. I've always been impressed by people I've met who spent time in that organization and how it left them with a sense of mission for those in need the rest of their lives. Vince was no exception. On top of that I never saw him without a smile. He was a good man who touched many lives, mine included.
God bless you and your family,
Lyle Rozeboom
The Real McCoy
We met at st. Pius, in grade school
Even then I knew , Vince was cool
Life was easy in our teens
In the morning JC, then drive for podeins.
Then we party at the zoo at night
Life was good everything was all right
You're simple way put folks ease
A puff of smoke and shoot the breeze
Then you headed off to Swaziland
And came back with a wedding band
A boy, a girl, an amazing wife
Vince you lived a wonderful life
Knowing you was really a joy
Few get to meet, the real McCoy
Remember Vince as the lucky one
A man who knew, how to have fun
The Bomber
Dear McCoy family,
I met Vince more than 22 years ago when I started working at Feeding America. Vince was one of the first people in food banking that I worked with and learned from to secure more food for those in need. Working with Vince was an absolute joy. I'd hear or see his name, and immediately smile. When I think of the term, Minnesota Nice, Vince immediately comes to mind. Companies gave and gave more because of the relationships Vince forged. My condolences to you all.
May warm memories of Vince provide comfort.
Diane

Hila, Jack, and Mary...
I am so very sorry for your huge loss. Vince was an amazing man. He had a huge heart and loved serving others. I looked forward to seeing him visit my classroom every year with the Rotary dictionaries. I'd get a big, old bear hug from him every year when he visited my class. I'm going to miss that.
You three are also amazing people. I'm so fortunate to have had the privilege of knowing your family these past 30 years.
I pray that you find peace during this very difficult time.
Kelli Nelson (Kearns)
May your memories wrap you in comfort at this time and strength from the love of family and friends to hold you during these difficult days, you have my most heartfelt sympathy and prayers during this difficult time.

It was a privilege to be in Rotary with Vince. He truly did represent the 4-Way Test in every way. He was gentle, unpretentious, and non-judgmental, and he always seemed to have a positive attitude. I want to express my sympathy to Vince's entire family. He was a good man. That says a lot.
Sincerely,
Bill Kleis
I'm sad for all of you and for myself. I liked Vince a lot; he was so kind and friendly. We talked often when I volunteered in the clean room at Ch.I, which now has been 9 years. I got to check up on Jack and Mary then - he was always proud of them and eager to talk. Jack and Mary, I hope you are both doing well. You are good people like your parents. I have given a donation to Channel One in his name. God bless all of you!
Hila, Mary and Jack,
I was so saddened to learn of Vince’s death— someone who made everyone smile just by walking into a room!
I got to know Vince through Greater Rochester Rotary (just checked our website- he joined November 1, 1990!). Vince was active in STRIVE, and was always on hand to label dictionaries and to present them to 3rd graders, among many other activities. He recently became one of our sergeants at arms. A true Rotarian at heart and in deed.
My deepest sympathies to all of you.
Denise Kelly
Dear Hila and Family.
I was shocked to hear of Vince's death. I worked with him for about 5 years before I retired from Channel One in 1995. I agree with the Rotary's 4-way test as mentioned in his obituary. He was a great person to work with and I always appreciated his efforts on behalf of Channel One, his co-workers and friends. You have my sincere sympathy and prayers for peace and comfort. Marcia Dollerschell
Hila, Jack & Mary,
It was with shock and sadness that I read of Vince's passing. It is my great privilege to have known Vince over the last 30+ years. Vince was always calm and always looking on the positive side of a situation, and I always looked forward to our "annual" meetings. We could use a lot more people like him. Please know that you are in Deb's and my prayers. May the Lord comfort you during this time of loss.

Dear McCoy Family, On behalf of Kwik Trip may we respectfully give you our condolences. Many of us here at Kwik Trip, knew and worked with Vince to the betterment of mankind. Vince was an incredibly selfless man who always had a kind word to say with a smile and heartfelt exuberance. A true man, a rare man and a remarkable man in all of his humbleness. He will be truly missed. Thank you for being his family and sharing him with us, he showed us all what it truly means to be human and serve our fellow man. May God be with all you. Sincerely, Jim Bressi past President Channel One BOD.
Jack and Family.....words cannot begin to tell you how very sorry we are to hear about your dad and husband. I also new Vince from Lourdes High School. He was a year older than me, but everyone knew everyone.... he was a great guy. Life at its longest is so very short....please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Our dear Vinny... Mr. Happy Go Lucky...
It has been my privilege to have known Vince for half of my lifetime. He always welcomed me with a smile and a warm hug. I have so many fond memories of being with him and Hila. What a great twosome! From early on at their apartment in St. Paul, to Green Isle to Rochester, Kevin and I shared so many good times with them.
Vince and Hila wholeheartedly loved/ love family and friends. Camp McCoy has always been that magical place where fun times happened and friendships bonded through conversation and laughter.
Jack and Mary- I’ve also been happy to have known you both since birth. You two had the good fortune of having such wonderful, loving parents.
I feel, as all whom were connected to Vince, a deep loss.
Sending my warm hugs and love to Hila, Jack and Mary... and to all family and friends who are grieving ❤️
