Sharon Elaine Eide, 87, of Rochester, MN peacefully passed away on April 2, 2024 at St. Marys Hospital.
Sharon was born on September 4, 1936 to Everett and Velma (Keilley) Watson. Growing up in Rochester, MN, she had 2 sisters and 1 brother; Shirley, Sandra, and Gary. In Rochester, she also met her husband, Curtis Eide. The two were married on December 5, 1954. This is where they went on to raise their four children; Curtis, Tammy, Kent, and Scott.
Sharon worked in the food industry for 14 years. After retiring, she went on to run her own upholstery business where her husband Curt would go on to be her apprentice after his retirement. There was nothing Sharon could not do, she had many talents. She was a skilled seamstress, as well she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needle point, and macramé. In her earlier days, she was also a beautiful painter. Sharon dearly enjoyed her visits from her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Curtis Eide of Jordan, MN, Tammy (Randy) Lester of Mazeppa, MN, Kent (Kelly) Eide of Rochester, MN, and Scott Eide of Rochester, MN, her five grandchildren, her six great-grandchildren and her brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Curt, two sisters, grandson Michael and great-grandchild Marcus.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Foster officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester, MN immediately following the service.

To Sharon Eide family. I am so sorry to hear about your Mother, she was loved so much. Friends for 50 years , I have many great memories, including the all you can eat fish Friday nights. I miss her. She is with Curt now and enjoying it. May she rest in peace. Shari Wussow.
