Condolences

The family of Mildred T. Slawson has received the following condolences.

I will always rememver Millie for her smile and kind words.  I am so sorry for your family's loss and wish I had known in time to show my respects at her funeral.  She was so proud of all of her kids and I hope your memories help you during your time of grief.

My condolences to Millie's family.  When I worked in Rochester, I met Millie.  When her sister Eileen died, Millie asked me what size shoes I wore.  I have pretty large feet and she thought maybe Eileen's shoes would fit me.  So she took me to Eileen's apartment when she was trying to empty it.  I picked up a good pair of tennis shoes and I'm still wearing them about seven years later.  However, they are now worn out.  Thank you, Eileen and Millie.  Good hearted Millie!

So sorry to hear about Millie.  I so enjoyed working with her at CUMC.  I still remember her little giggle and her stories.  She made the best candy (always made my husband some for Christmas) and her cheesecakes she'd bring in for us to try.  Which of course we loved!  My favorite creation was her chicken salad on croissants!  What a talented gal.  Everything was done with perfection.  I'm so glad she got to do all the travelling she did.  She saw so much in her lifetime.  She will be missed.  My sympathies to your family.

To the Slawson family,  Pleasae accept my sincere sympthy on the passing of your Mother.  She was a strong, beautiful  and admirable lady.  May God hold your family close to his heart during this time of sorrow.
