Thinking of you during this difficult time. You can't imagine how sorry we feel for all of you. Your family will be in our hearts and prayers. Sending all of our love and condolences.
Matt was an amazing man! I worked for Matt and he always brightened the day! Matt was proud to be a dad to his son and daughter and even prouder of his grandchildren. I remember taking Matt shopping after his first grandchild was born and he bought baby stuff and during the shopping trip Matt had the biggest Grandpa smile on his face but not as big as the first time he held grand baby and baby fell asleep in grandpa’s arms. Thank you Matt for being and inspiration to me and keeping work jamming to the oldies no matter what time of the day it was. Rock on Matt and there’s no doubt in my mind you are giving heaven some hell. Until we meet again my friend! If you run into my Uncle Jimmy past owner of Jim and Joe’s make sure you tell him you and I have met and he is the one that cracked all the ice between us. I will be looking for one of your paintings Matt you enjoy painting the skies!
To the family of Matt,
I am sorry for the loss of this wonderful man. I have known Matt (Sunshine, is what I called him) for 15 years and enjoyed spending many hours with him. He was there through all three pregnancies and watched my kids grow up. He had a determination like no other. He was stubborn as hell, loved to tell me when I was wrong, and could find a few choice words when things didn't go his way. His smile brought joy to so many and I will miss it dearly. I hope he is listening to some Led Zepplin up there.
