Condolences

The family of Lucille Violette Benson has received the following condolences.

As a young child the Benson house was my home away from home.   Lucille was like a second mother for me.  She was also one of my mother’s closest and dearest friends throughout her life. Lucille and Luann came to visit me in San Francisco 6 years ago.  Lucille was 90 years old at that time, and after enjoying a lunch at a neighborhood café, Lucille insisted on walking back to our house, five blocks uphill!!

She was a very significant person in my family’s life.  We will all miss her very much!

Eric, Eileen and Benson family, so sorry to learn about the passing of your Mom Lucillle. Hopefully as time goes by you will be able to see all the good times you spent with her. Thinking of you all at this time, keeping you in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. Rip Lucille.

Glen, Luann, Eric, Norma, and Alfie:

I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your dear mother and grandmother.  She was my maternal grandmother’s baby sister.  My siblings and I have fond memories of Matante Lu when she and Uncle Allen would visit California in the winter months. We always had down to earth conversations with Matante Lu. Her angelic heart will always be appreciated because she always checked up on us after our parents passed away.  Her grand act of kindness will always be remembered. May Matante Lu rest in eternal peace with Uncle Allen and the Marcoux family.  My God comfort the families' healing hearts day-by-day.

RIP Lucille. Thanks for hosting lovely Christmases when I was lonely and far from home. I will remember your kindness and laughter!

Sincere condolences to Eric, Eileen and the Benson family on the sad passing of Lucille. We had the pleasure of meeting her several times on our visits to the USA and she was a lovely lady who looked after us very well. She will be sadly missed by all who has the pleasure of knowing her.

I am sad to hear of Lucille’s passing she was a wonderful dynamic woman. I have many great memories of her and Allen.
