Condolences

The family of Kimberley K. Blondell has received the following condolences.

I was so saddened to hear of Kim's passing. While she and I never met face to face, we spoke on the phone or emailed frequently for SMMPA business. Last time we spoke she shared her cancer story as I had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Such a great person. I will miss our talks and getting the golf team sorted out for our tournament. My sympathies to her family and all who knew her.

So  sad to hear of Kim's death, gee we go way  back too grade school at Elton Hills, like Tracy Beck we all went up in grades to high school.  She always had a beaming smile when she would run into you.  Years latter I ran into Kim again by chance,  it was like time never past and we both talked about what we had been upto since high school.  She wss  a very kind person to which I hold great respect to have known her.

My heart hurts for family and all of us who had the pleasure of having Kim in our lives.  She was kind, loving and had a great sense of humor!  I will be planting a butterfly garden in her memory.   "You gotta be a catapelliar before you are a butterfly."  "A butterfly always  reminds us there is always beauty at the end of all the pain."

So very sorry to hear about Kim.

Growing up, we lived two houses apart and played together in the neighborhood.

Hide & Seek, kick the can, sledding, birthday parties and playing restaurant in the playhouse. We even continued our fun while working at Mr. Steak together.

Kim was always a sweetheart and a joy to be around.

So sorry about your precious mother, sister & friend.

So sorry to learn of Kim's passing. We worked together at SMMPA for several years. She was part of the Admin Team, which was part of the Finance and Accounting area. I truly enjoyed working with her and getting to know her and members of her family.

I am so very sorry and saddened to hear of Kim’s passing. Kim and I have been friends since grade school. There are soo many great memories to remember!! Kim was loved by all the boys and great friends with all the girls!    As we grew older, married and had children, we continued our friendship with our husbands and kids, birthday parties, trick and treating and having a great time with other friends and co- workers! We kept in touch even after I moved to Phoenix, with her and her girls coming for a great visit! I can honestly say, I have never met a person that didn’t love Kim! She was beautiful, with a beautiful heart and spirit! She was a true friend to everyone and so loved! Kim, I know you will be a queen again in your next journey, loved again by all the boys, friends with all the girls! I am so sad that I won’t be able to attend Kim’s funeral, as I will be out of the country. My love and prayers go out to your family who have truly lost an angel way too soon!

Dear Kim and family -

I will always remember you as our sweet friendly snow queen from John Marshall High School, class of 1975.  Kim, I remember when you helped me with finding so many classmates from our JMHS Class of 1975 for our 20th class reunion.  We started off with no information on much of any of them and you and Terri Homerick Farlow from our class did so many calls to help us out.  You will always be remembered and kept in our thoughts and prayers, and you will be very missed by all of us in the JMHS Class of 1975.  Your family and friends and all who knew you will hold a special place in our hearts for you and we will see you again someday.  Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time.

Diana (Swenson) Friemann from your class in high school, JM Class of 1975

Lets all plant butterflie gardens to help Kim finish her mission. Peace

What a sweet, kind-hearted girl Kim was. The world was a better place with her in it. God bless her soul.

My heart is broken at this sad news ?

I met Kim in seventh grade as we were assigned to be locker partners. We continued to be life long friends. We had a lot of fun together especially after we graduated..we were younger. Lots of great memories! Even though we didn't see each other very much anymore unfortunately...when we did see each other it was as though not a day had passed...I will forever miss your beautiful personality and smile. Heaven gained a Beautiful Angel ! RIP my dear friend until we meet again ❤️

Very unfortunately I'm down south and will not be able to attend her celebration of life.  My thoughts a n d prayers are with all the family and friends ?

You guys--Hunter, Ross, Jess and Lindsey --

I am shocked and saddened by Kim's passing.  I didn't realize she was so sick.  I didn't get the chance to say good bye.  I am so sorry for you loss. She was always so wonderful to me. And upbeat no matter how tough things were for her at times.  I feel fortunate that I was her friend.  If there is anything I can do for any of you or all of you, please call me.  My heart is with you.  I'm sorry.  And so sad.
