Arlene Lucille Moe
Arlene Lucille Moe, age 79, of Rochester, MN, died Friday, November 4, 2022 at Stewartville Care Center after fighting pancreatic cancer for 18 months.
She was born November 25, 1942, in Rochester, MN, the daughter of Lavern Briske and LouElla Gatz. She attended Burr Oak School. She was united in marriage to Ardeen Moe on March 12, 1960. The couple resided in Rochester, MN, and raised their 4 children. She was a homemaker, loved to cook, and play cards and Yahtzee. In her later years she enjoyed using her iPad, and doing puzzle books. Her kids and grandkids were the most important thing to her.
She is survived by her children: Connie (Dave) Hollenbach of Kasson, Brian Moe of Rochester, Diana Jeter of Rochester, and Cheryl (Shannon) Eyre of Rochester; 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren; siblings: Mike Fields of Hayfield, Terry Ward of Rochester, and Robin Sell of Sun Prairie, WI.
She is preceded in death by her mother, LouElla; husband, Ardeen; and granddaughter, Drew Eyre.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Stewartville Care Center and Season’s Hospice for the wonderful care she received.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 10:30 AM in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Karen Foster officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.
