April was a student employee in my office at Winona State.  She was a joy to work with, very bright and enthusiastic. Although is has been a few years since I've seen her she was a Facebook friend. My deepest sympathy to her family and dear friends, I know she will be sorely missed by many people.

April knew how to create community. The residents in Circle 2 of our HOA became acquainted with each other due to the frequent invitations by April and Kris to join them and 'the boys' (Jack and Rocky) on the patio. April welcomed all. She was my personal IT expert with no judgement whenever I got into trouble on my phone or computer. Her passing leaves a huge hole in our neighborhood. My heartfelt sympathies to Kris and family.
