Becki Barnhill

I am so sorry for your loss! Such great childhood memories going to Roger and DeeDee's house for gatherings and being welcomed like family even though we weren't. Just remember that it's not goodbye, it's until we meet again! Hugs to all of you during this difficult time!!

Matt, Jenni & Sam Ellingson (Hermanson)

Sorry to hear about Uncle Roger but happy to know he has eternal peace! He was such a great and funny guy!

Dear DeeDee, Kim and the entire Van Der Heyden family,

I was saddened to learn of Roger's death.  I have fond memories of spending time with Roger camping and fishing.  I remember how he would make up contests to encourage Kim and I to catch fish.  I feel blessed to have grown up with such a positive influence in my life.

Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with Roger's passing.

Hugs and much love,

Arana

I'm so sorry to hear of Rogers death. I always enjoyed seeing him at dq in byron.he will truly be missed. my sympathy to all of you.

Dear Aunt Delores, Uncle Elm, Aunt Mary and extended Vanderheyden family,

It is with deepest regret that we learned the news of Uncle Rogers passing. We have the fondest memories of the rare occasions that we were able to visit with him. Our mother Evelyn, his older sister, had the same gift of humor and the ability to bring laughter to all those around them. We will be praying for all of you during this difficult time. In the days ahead you will certainly fill the void that is left from losing someone so dear. We know when we lost mother, that because of Christ and his death, burial and resurrection that this parting is only temporary for those that put their trust in Him. Our prayers with you all . In Christ alone, Donna Cowan
