I worked for Bob for several years at IBM.  He was one of the best managers I had during my 30 IBM career. He was the kind of manager who let you do your job without interference, but was there for you if you needed help. After leaving IBM in 1993, I started a software development company and Bob used to stop in from time-to-time to see how things were going.  We didn't spend a lot of time talking about the good-old-days, but did talk a lot about the good-now-days and what was going on with us now.  I'll truly miss Bob -- he was one of the good guys.

sorry to hear   i enjoyed talking to him when john worked at our house and he seemed to be proud of his son and the work that he did here and we do also.

Kevin and Marcia:

I'm saddened to hear of your dad's death. I have fond memories of his helping us to put the bathroom in on our third floor so many years ago - he was an incredibly hard working and gifted man - and the time on his boat on a stormy Saturday. He will certainly be missed by you all. Know that you are in my thoughts and my prayers.

Dear Kevin and Marcia and family,

So sorry to hear about the death of your loved one.  No words can express what is in my heart at this time, though having lost my father 17 years ago, I can empathize with you.  May God's immeasurable peace and love be with in the coming days as you walk through this part of the journey of life.
