Condolences

The family of Patton Carney Prunty has received the following condolences.

Arianna,

My heart goes out to you for your tragic loss.  I pray that God gives you strength and courage as you parent the boys and maintain Patton's legacy in them, in your heart and in your life.

Patton and I served together on the Olmsted County Parks Commission.  While we never spent time together socially and never got to know each other on a personal level, my limited experiences with Patton revealed him to be a man of passion, conviction, and commitment.  We all learned that he loved mountain biking and was an advocate for expanding opportunities and trails for mountain biking.  I could imagine him soaring down a trail at full speed, ready for any challenge.

We were all very saddened and also touched that he made a point to ask us to stay after our November meeting had concluded to tell us personally of his good news....his recent marriage and the joy of his second son...and the disturbing news of his cancer diagnosis.

He was brave, he was committed, and I am sure that those who know him best will find that his love will endure.

Sincere condolences to all of you who loved him, but especially his wife, children, and other family.

On behalf of Dave Stein and his family, we send our sincere condolences to Patton's family.  Words cannot express how saddened we were to hear of his illness and untimely death.  Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

My sympathy to your family. Your NWTC Marketing team is thinking about you, Pat. :(

Patton will be remembered by his Olmsted County park board colleagues as a thoughtful, intelligent, dynamic young man who wanted to give back to his community. I was lucky enough to be able to work with him and discuss his ideas for our County Parks. He made major contributions to our Values and Guidelines document, moving our group ahead with thoughtful contributions when we were stuck.
We will all miss him greatly.
Ruthann Yaeger
Olmsted County Park Commission

Our sincerest condolences for your loss.  We never met Patton personally, however, heard so much about his goodness from his mother, Pat, when I worked with her at NWTC in Green Bay.  Our prayers for peace and comfort in the future.

Ari, James, and the Prunty family:

May our Heavenly Father comfort and calm your hearts and give you strength as He guides you through this time.

Pat,

I am so sorry to hear of Patton's passing.  You and your family are in my thoughts.  Peace....

Karen

I shared a lot of great memories with Patton at the De Pere Ice Center.  My condolences go out to the Prunty family.

I remember Patton bringing James to our home to fish in our pond.  It was a glorious day and the fish were biting.  What a bond those two have.  This is how I will remember Patton, in the sun with his son, with a fishing pole.  I will always remember how Luke loved Patton and the stories he tells me of their shinanigans.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all!  There are no words that I can share that will take away the sorrow and the loss of dear Patton.  Pat I wish I was there to give you a big hug!  You have been amazing as you shared this journey and know we are all here for you.

There not a day that we didn't prayer for a cure and we will continue to keep you all on our prayer tree.  Please let me know if there is anything we can do.

Love and may God keep you safe and hold you in his arms.

So very Sorry,

Sandy Duckett

My deepest sympathy go out to Patton's family and his friends for his terrible death. This proves that God only takes the best.
