I knew Monroe as a teenager, I am from Fort Frances, the Canadian side from I Falls, I was so sad to hear of his passing.. Hogger you have always held a special place in my heart and memory .

Hog was always a pleasure to be around on the job. He was a great man and a hard worker. Wishing your family deepest sympathy at this diificult time.

to Monroe Brenhaug family. we are very sorry to hear of your loss. Our family and the Brenhaug's spent many summers at Waskish campground on Red Lake, we had the best of times. we wil keep you in our prayers.

Monroe was my slightly older cousin. He taught me about fishing during our visits from California when I was a kid. His dad Martin, my father George, our grandpa Lang, and the two of us would fish for walleye in the Lake of the Woods. He was a good guy. All my condolences to his sons. Corky Lang

Dear Brenhaug family,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  Monroe was a peach of a guy and a proud and loving father.  Charlie and I  just drove by my old house in Marvale on Saturday and I wondered if Hog was home.  We had some great times when you boys were little, and even then he had built a hockey rink in the back yard.  Hog lived life to the fullest and I know you will have great big holes in your hearts for some time to come.  Time and the good memories will help greatly.  I pray for you all that you will feel God's loving arms around you at this time to carry you through.
