Condolences

The family of Louis M. Ohly has received the following condolences.

Dear Ohly Family,

We're so sorry to hear of your parents both passing this summer. We didn't personally know Mr. & Mrs. Ohly but live in their neighborhood.  For years, all the neighborhood children have all affectionately referred to your parents yard as "the monkeys" because of the monkey statues in the trees and bushes and sweet little fairy gardens that your parents put near the sidewalk.

When it's warm, nearly every night after dinner someone says "let's go to the monkeys" and we all walk together to check on the monkeys and play with the fairy garden.  It's become a lovely tradition and I cherish all the times my husband and I have been able to chat with each other and watch our children race their scooters on this familiar route. I've often thought about the Ohlys as we visit their yard and hope they enjoyed seeing our children run by, because we certainly have loved visiting this sweet corner of our neighborhood.

Sincerely,

Dick and Jill Lueck on behalf of the Lueck family

We are sorry for your loss, and the loss to all who met him will be great. Mr. Ohly gave us a great piece of advice the first time we met him and he somehow made us feel like we’d known him forever in the few meetings we had. His few sentences helped guide us during our child rearing days.

Our sincere condolences,

Gary and Cindy Truex

My condolences go out to the Ohly Family......Mr. Lou Ohly was a great man on a personal level and as a highly recognized lawyer @ the Ohly Law Office. Prayers for the family grieving and remember that he was a wonderful father, husband to Beverly, and a great grandfather to all of those grandchildren of his.....I'm not able to be at his service but will pray that the healing of the Ohly family is met soon.
