Lisa Mae Erickson

Lisa Mae (Hoyer) Erickson, age 56, passed from this life on February 11, 2017. She was guided along the rainbow bridge by her furry companions, greeted at heaven’s door by her dad and was welcomed to the loving arms of her Savior. A joyful reunion is taking place at the rainbow bridge with Sebastian, Brutus, Caleb, Toby, Tatiana, Tinkerbell. Tails are wagging and puppy kisses are flowing. Your mama is home.

She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Todd Erickson, on April 19, 1986 and they were blessed with two wonderful sons. Lisa was a strong advocate of the elderly, children and animals. She worked as a caregiver of elderly and also as a teacher at Primrose School.

Life is shorter than any of us realize and you don’t know what you have until it’s gone. Be kind to one another, say I love you and give lots of hugs. Heaven has gained a very joyful soul and she will be deeply missed.

Todd and family: I am so sorry for your loss.  May God comfort you a this sad time.  Lisa was such a special person and was taken way too soon.  I will never forget her and our times together.  My most heartfelt sympathy to you.  I will be thinking and praying for you.

Todd and Family. I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers

There are no words to express how much we love and will miss you.

Ms. Erickson was a beautiful person and role model.  Her preschool children LOVED spending time with her.  You can just see the love the children had for Ms. Erickson and the love she had for them in pictures.  Her laugh was contagious!  Our daughter said her favorite memory with Ms. Erickson was hearing her laugh and when Ms. Erickson borrowed her hair bows (to make her laugh).

I will miss my morning talks with Ms. Erickson as I dropped my daughter off.  She always brought a smile to my face and let me know things were okay!  I loved how our daughter dove out of my arms into Ms. Erickson's lap- I knew while I was away she was being taken good care of.  I will always remember seeing Ms. Erickson with several children in her lap.  She always had room for as many kiddos were there!  She always made sure to write a personal note!

I loved hearing about her furry friends!  We would exchange stories of the funny things our pets did!

Blessings to you all as you celebrate her beautiful life.  Thank you for letting your beautiful wife/mother be a part of our daughter's life.  She will forever be remembered and we will continue to share pictures in her memory.
