Condolences

The family of John “Jack” Toogood has received the following condolences.

To the Family of John Toogood. I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one, Jack. May the God of comfort heal your heart. The passing of someone you love can be a very hard thing to deal with. I hope you can find comfort in the promise of the resurrection mentioned in the Bible at 1 Corinthians 15:21 & 22. Sincerely, Kristy jw.org

Jack was very special. I had the privilege of working with him at the fire department and associating with he and Gennie through the Credit Union when he served on the board.  My sympathy to his family on their loss.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Jack Toogood.  Not only was he a wonderful neighbor for several years, he was a good friend to my late husband Gordon and me. To watch him and his beloved wife Gennie walking hand-in-hand was a genuine tribute to their true and lasting love. A part of him died when she did, but he continued living life to the best of his ability.  Although Jack's health was failing and he was still grieving the loss of his precious "Mama" he offered comfort to me and my family at the time of my husband's death last May. He was the type of person who will not be forgotten.  May God bless his memory and your family.  Sincerely,  Kathie Branes

It's impossible to quantify all the people you impacted throughout your life.  From the years on the farm & school to the Marines & 30+ years w/the RFD.  You made a difference in this world & we thank you for influencing so many of our lives. I for one have many fond memories of a man that was the wisest of the wise (aside from the "occasional" story you told where grandma had to remind you what really happened...)    ;)-   Thank you for more than you'll ever know.  May you finally be at peace and rest at home with the Lord and Grandma forever.   Love ya always, Sarge
