My deepest condolences to the Johnson family. May you find comfort in the beautiful words found at Revelation 21:3 & 4, where God promises us that He will soon eliminate all death and suffering. May the fond memories of Edward comfort you and ease your pain.

Vi, Gretchen and I send our love and condolences.  I deeply regret I am unable to be there with you during this time.  My heart is saddened with the news of your beloved husband and my dear friend of thirty-six years.  Since learning of the news, I have continued to reflect on our journey of love.  Our relationship was greater than a friendship. Our conversations were like a father to son.  I have greatly benefited from his Godly example and advice to financial management guidance; from his career advice to tips for how to get a wife through his cooking and kitchen skills. I will forever honor his memories.   In closing, I can’t thank God enough for our wonderful visit last September.  I miss my friend deeply and know God will comfort us all in celebrating his life.  Love, Donald and Gretchen
