Arlene A. Pearson

Arlene A. Pearson passed away October 28, 2014 from Alzheimer’s at the age of 81.

She was born September 25, 1933 to proud Swiss parents, John and Hannah Schuetz, in rural Dodge County.  She graduated from Kasson High School.  After graduating, she worked at Rochester Credit Bureau.  She married Richard Pearson on November 8, 1953, and lived in California where they both worked at Douglas Aircraft before moving back to Rochester, Minnesota.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Richard; three children, Doug Pearson, Dan Pearson and Diane (Fred) Peaslee; a stepson, Scott Pearson; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Fred; and a sister, Nancy.

She enjoyed garage sales, wrestling, cooking, gardening, and traveling across the USA.

A funeral service will be at 3:00PM on Friday, October 31, 2014, in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Ortloff officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association.
