Andrew Allen Sean Preap, age 19 of Rochester passed away on August 12, 2013.
Andrew was born on February 28, 1994 in Rochester. Growing up in Rochester, he attended Mayo High School. The love of his life was his daughter Aubrey. He was known as a caring and loyal man who loved his family and friends deeply. Andrew had the greatest smile and sense of humor. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Andrew is survived by his longtime girlfriend Molly, a daughter Aubrey, his parents Souk and Nita Vongphakdy of Rochester, Reth Preap of Massachusetts his grandparents Roger Watson and Alice Murphy (Greg) of Rochester and Sean Preap and Voeuth Chhin of Rochester, sister Niveah, great grandmother Alice Olson of Rochester, uncles and aunts- Larry Watson (Samantha), Matthew Watson (Grace), Nancy Watson, Jennifer Murphy, Matthew Murphy, Vuth Preap, Savann Preap, Ry Preap, Navy Preap, Sin Preap, Joe Preap, Sim Preap, Rouen Preap and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
A funeral service for Andrew will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church of Rochester with Pastor Mark Nienow officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at The River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

molly and family, im so sorry for you loss, andrew was such a amazing freind to both my children, alex and ariel. he was such a joy to know over the years and always just blew me away with the humor and joy he brought. i can only imagine the pain you are all in.ariel is away in the army and has no idea about andrews passing, and her heart will break when im able to tell her. there are trageties in this world that cant be explained and dont seem fare. i know his memory will carry on with his beatifull daughter and all his amazing freinds.you are all in my thoughts and prayers, god bless. dawn
Oh boy well Andrew was a very special person he could always lighting up our days, even if you had a great day he could find a way to make it even better. He loved his friends and family very much and his only loving girlfriend and his precious daughter. He was a truly inspiring person. The things he did represented who he was and who he left behind. I will always be reminiscing about you and all the funny things you have done, and how much you and Molly have made an impact on me. You both were a part of my family and still are. And i know you wanted Jake all to yourself but sorry we had to share him (: haha i love you Andrew and i deeply miss you brother ! I will be here for Molly and baby Aubrey and I will tell her all the stories i have to baby Aubrey. i love you Andrew, Molly Thim, And Aubrey!!!

Anyone who has ever met Andrew in person knows what an amazing young man he was. He was not only an asset to this community but he was an asset to the WORLD. R.I.P baby boy. You are sleeping with the angels now.

I am so sorry to hear that Andrew passed away the night before I fly back to Texas. I wish I can be there with all of you for his funeral.
I hope he will rest in peace with God in Heaven.

To Nita, Alice, everyone..
Our long time across the street neighbors... We did a lot of growing up together. I am speaking for my whole family when we say we are so sorry for everyone's loss.
Nita~ I love you, and I am so sorry.. You are an amazing mom and love your kids with all your heart. You raised a good man. let me know if there is anything you need.

Nita, I remember when you first found out you would be a grandmother. You told me you "weren't ready to be a grandma". I've watched the love you have for sweet baby Aubrey grow through pictures and comments you have posted online and I know that Aubrey was put in your lives by our loving Father to help you at this very moment.
